Lucy discovered her passion for ceramics a few years ago after attending a local pottery course with friends. Instantly fixated by the craft, she felt a strong pull to learn more. Shortly after, a local potter kindly offered her the use of her garden studio - an opportunity she jumped at without hesitation.
She spent several hours each week teaching herself, experimenting, and learning what worked and what didn't. That period of exploration led her into the creative industry, where she began working for a local pottery studio, which has since become her full-time role.
Alongside working full time and producing her own ceramics, Lucy has now reached a stage where the natural next step is to build a small studio at home. This will allow her to produce, practise, and continue developing her skills in a more focused and personal space.
Her work is defined by a timeless aesthetic, using earthy tones and considered forms designed for everyday life.
